Has a point to prove
When a player has a point to prove, one of two things happen. Either, they prove it and become a better player or they shrink away but Oxlade-Chamberlain doesn’t seem like the kind of person to do the latter. He’s seen the likes of Theo Walcott get hammered last season and now look at him and he’ll surely be determined to follow suit. Wenger needs to give him the chance to do so.
