The German seemed destined for Arsenal a few weeks ago but it looks as though the fee is going to be a sticking point and the deal may not happen. The German would help ease Arsenal’s defensive woes whilst Valencia could do with the money, so the fact a deal hasn’t happened is incredibly frustrating. It’s getting desperate for the north London side and this meandering around could cost them dearly.
