SHKODRAN MUSTAFI
Arguably the archetype signing for the Gunners as one of the few top-class defenders left on the market. Shkodran Mustafi couldn’t make the grade at Everton but is now a World Cup winner with Germany and one of the best defenders in La Liga. He can operate at right-back or centre-half and at the age of 24 seems like a worthy long-term investment.
