Arsenal and Juventus are locked in a battle to sign Inter Milan star midfielder Marcelo Brozovic before the transfer window closes on Wednesday night, according to Transfer Market Web.
The Croatia international has starred for the Nerazzurri since moving to Milan from Dinamo Zagreb in his homeland and put in a number of industrious displays for the Serie A giants last season.
However, the arrival of Frank de Boer has sparked a major upheaval in the Inter squad, with attacking midfielders Joao Mario, Antonio Candreva and Ever Banega all signed this summer.
The Italian giants are believed to be ready to part with Brozovic in an attempt to recuperate some of the money spent, with the eastern European playmaker having no shortage of suitors.
The report states that Arsenal are ready to pounce on the midfielder, with Arsene Wenger a long-terms admirer of the box-to-box man.
However, Italian champions Juventus are also interested in Brozovic and a struggle to land him could well be set to unfold this week.
