ClickWengerArsene Wenger has confirmed that there will be money made available to spend over the summer – haven’t we heard this all before.

Recent reports have suggested that Arsenal have over £150 million in reserve and it’s now being claimed that Wenger will be given as much as £75 million to splash when the summer transfer window opens.

The Frenchman has since confirmed these reports to be true, amid pundits and fans alike talking about the club signing a new striker at the end of the season:

‘I think if we want to buy at the end of the season, money will be available.

‘But the money before the end of the season will not help us.’

We always hear the same thing, year in, year out about our financial stability and the amount of funds that will be made available to Wenger.

However, the Frenchman never seems to want to whip out his cheque book. In the past two transfer windows, Arsene has spent a combined total of £15 million on Petr Cech over the summer and Mohamed Elneny in January, despite the club’s financial profit and earnings.

Wenger’s latest comments will only infuriate and upset fans further, especially after the cries for reinforcements over the summer and January, which the Frenchman ignored as usual.
