Serge AurierArsenal have been given the green light to sign Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier, according to reports in France.

The 23-year-old Ivorian is unlikely to feature for the Ligue 1 champions again this season after being frozen out by Laurent Blanc for allegedly making homophobic comments about his manager.

Aurier, who has made 19 Ligue 1 appearances this season, is now set to be sold by PSG over the summer and Arsenal are thought to be interested in his services, reports L’Equipe.

The Gunners were reportedly keen on the Ivory Coast international before he joined PSG from Toulouse and could now be made available for a fee between £11-15.5 million.

Should Aurier be put on the market this summer, then Arsenal have to go in for him.

The right-back would be a perfect replacement for Mathieu Debuchy, who looks to be on his way out of the Emirates this summer, and also provide proper competition for Hector Bellerin.

£11-15.5 million is not a huge fee to pay for a player who has great potential and ability. Arsene Wenger could certainly work his magic on Aurier and make him into a world-beater as well.
