Jorginho have rejected an offer from Arsenal for midfielder Jorginho, according to reports in Italy.

Arsenal are believed to be monitoring the 24-year-old this month and Tuttomercatoweb now claim have rejected an approach from the Gunners, with the club not keen to sell.

Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos said in November that he wasn’t surprised to see scouts keeping tabs on his client with the Brazilian cementing a place in ’s side this season:

‘I don’t know if the Arsenal scouts were in for Jorginho.

‘I’m not surprised that the player is doing very well – especially in light of the change of coach – and that top clubs are interested in him.’

Although are not keen to sell one of their prized assets as they chase the title this season, they may be more willing to do business over the summer.
