Getafe are interested in a January move for David Ospina, according to reports in Italy.
Tuttomercatoweb claim the La Liga side are closely monitoring the 27-year-old’s situation at Arsenal and it’s looking increasingly likely that the Colombian goalkeeper’s days at the Emirates are numbered after his awful error against Olympiacos a couple of weeks ago in the Champions League.
Despite his promising displays at the end of last season, Ospina has again become second-choice goalkeeper at Arsenal following the arrival of Petr Cech.
However, Ospina has become the club’s cup goalkeeper this term but has failed to live up to his previous performances.
With the January transfer window a couple of months away from opening, Ospina’s future at Arsenal will come into question, with the Colombian desperate to gain regular first-team football – something he is not doing at present.
Getafe are keen, but it is thought Besiktas, Genoa and Palermo are also all interested in signing Ospina.
