Arsenal have a new wonderkid, and his name is Jeff Reine-Adelaide.
But who is this youngster who caught the eye of Arsenal fans at the Emirates Cup yesterday?
Well here are 10 things you should know about Reine-Adelaide:
1. Born on the 17th of January, 1998, Reine-Adelaide is a 17-year-old Frenchman who plays as an attacking midfielder.
2. Arsenal fought off interest from Barcelona and Newcastle to sign Reine-Adelaide from Lens. The French youngster was bought along with Yassin Fortune for a combined total of £3 million plus bonuses on appearances.
3. The 17-year-old, who possesses great technical ability, dribbling skills and flair, has represented France at Under-16 and Under-17 level, making a combined total of six appearances for his country.
4. Reine-Adelaide made his senior debut in Arsenal’s 6-0 hammering of Lyon in the Emirates Cup yesterday, coming on as a substitute in the latter stages of the second-half.
5. Arsene Wenger believes the young Frenchman is ‘something special’. On Reine-Adelaide, he said: ‘He is a great talent and when he came on you could see that – 17 years old let’s not forget that. In fact I don’t remember how I played at 17 but I didn’t play like that!’
6. Although an attacking midfielder, who can also play on the flanks, Wenger has already seen enough to illicit comparisons with Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and could turn Reine-Adelaide into a central midfielder in the future: ‘He’s an offensive player, but he can develop into an all-round midfielder as well. At the moment he plays on the right or left but I think he can develop as a central midfielder as well.’
7. Despite praise from Wenger, Reine Adelaide, who is highly-rated in France and is tipped to be a star for the future, will more than likely feature in the Arsenal Under-21 squad this season.
You can’t even get your dates right, kid.

Your grammar is pretty poor John (leave a space after your comma), so don’t be a hypocrite. Anyways, I’m not going to stoop to your level. I appreciate that you view this as a ‘professional’ publication, but it’s only a blog at the end of the day, not a national newspaper son.
