Arsenal snapped up a bargain in Petr Cech and also rewarded Hector Bellerin’s efforts from last season by offering him a new long-term deal – believed to be four-year one.
However, Arsene Wenger has yet to open talks with Theo Walcott over a new deal, with the winger entering the final year of his current contract. And instead of sorting out Theo’s situation, the club have decided to hand Olivier Giroud a new three-year deal, with the Frenchman pocketing a reported £130,000-a-week, reports Tuttomercatoweb.
The 28-year-old striker joined the Gunners from Montpellier in 2012 and has since scored 54 goal in 132 total appearances thus far.
Giroud was the club’s top scorer in the Premier League last season and it appears he has been rewarded for his efforts with a new deal which would keep him at Arsenal until 2018, earning an extra £30k-a-week.
Should these reports prove accurate, Giroud would be the joint second-highest paid player at the club, with Alexis Sanchez earning the same as the Frenchman and Mesut Ozil an extra £10,000.
No. not at all. What about for all these “difficult -to -miss -balls” missed by him? Who is gonna pay for them?

It seems as there is real error at Arsenal, I can not imagine Giroud receiving wage more than Walcott, Wilshere, or Santi.
Get Edin dzeko,he’s much good finisher than Giroud and he would be worth less 130k per week.

He deserved it. If Sterling can earn 180,000 at Man city, then 130,000 is not too much for Giroud. Its left to Walcot to negotiate well for his own.
