Patrick OlsenArsenal are keeping tabs on Inter Milan reject Patrick Olsen, who is currently training at Chelsea.

The 21-year-old Dane is a free agent after Inter Milan terminated his contract last week and, according to the Daily Express, Arsene Wenger could be ready to offer him a chance to revive his career at the Emirates.

The Gunners were reportedly very interested in the defensive midfielder last season but a move never materialized.

Olsen joined Inter from Brondby in 2012 but has failed to make the grade at the Serie A club, making just four appearances from the bench to date.

Olsen is believed to have a ‘bad boy’ image in the game after being sent off in three consecutive games for the reserves, but Wenger can get him back on track as the Frenchman did with Robin van Persie when he signed him from Feyenoord all those years ago.

Wenger is said to be keen on adding a new defensive midfielder to the squad at the end of the season, but perhaps a move for Olsen isn’t the right way to go – even though he would cost us nothing in transfer fees.

The Under-21 Denmark international is also being targeted by Chelsea.
