Anything is still possible

Arsene WengerOur title challenge may have been dented on Saturday afternoon against Chelsea and although mathematically it’s not over, a lot believe the Gunners won’t be lifting the Premier League trophy at the end of the season.

Seven points behind league leaders Chelsea and currently sitting in fourth with a game in hand on the Blues and seven games to go, anything is possible. However, a lot needs to happen if we are to be crowned Premier League champions. All we can do is win and hope those above drop points which will occur one way or the other as Liverpool still have to play both Chelsea and Manchester City.

While some of us still believe we can win the title, many of us will just be hoping that we finish in the top four. Spurs are only six behind us and our game in hand (against Swansea later tonight) has, after our latest result, become a huge fixture for us – one which we must win if we are to finish in the top four and, as stupid as it may sound, still contend for the title.

Arsene Wenger and his men know they owe us a performance after their embarrassing display and result against Chelsea on Saturday, but it won’t be a walk in the park, with Swansea only four points off the drop zone.

However, it’s a fixture we are expected to win and hopefully for our title and top four finish sake they deliver the goods tonight.

Manchester City await on Sunday and morale will need to be high for what will be a make or break game for us (providing of course we beat the Swans).
