Barcelona have sent scouts to watch Aaron Ramsey’s last four games for Arsenal as well as Wales’s matches against Belgium and Macedonia.
According to the Daily Mail, Gerardo Martino is looking to reinforce and freshen up his Barcelona side and has set his sights on Ramsey following his scintillating for Arsene Wenger’s side.
Last season, Ramsey was the prime target of the Emirates boo-boys following a string of poor performances by mainly playing out of position. But this season the box-to-box midfielder has emerged as Arsenal’s main man and is one of, if not the first name on the team sheet when fit and available.
He has in fact impressed Wenger so much that the Frenchman recently revealed he would not sell him for £50 million! (a statement to ward of any potential suitors? I think so).
The 22-year-old Welshman has netted eight goals in 13 Premier League appearances thus far for the Gunners and has come leaps and bounds since his horrific leg break against Stoke City three years ago.
