N'KoulouReports in France claim Arsenal are keeping tabs on Marseille centre-back Nicolas N’Koulou, according to talkSPORT.com.

The Cameroon international has been on Arsene Wenger’s radar for the past year or so and with Thomas Vermaelen’s future at the Emirates in doubt, Le Boss has set his sights on N’Koulou as a potential replacement for the Belgian.

However, Napoli are also believed to be in the hunt for the 23-year-old, while big-spenders Monaco, where N’Koulou broke through as a youngster, want him back at the Stade Louis II.

N’Koulou, who has featured in every game for Marseille so far this season (16), is contracted to the Ligue 1 club until 2015.

It is thought Wenger has money to spend in the January transfer window to bring in new faces, but it remains unclear whether N’Koulou is on his winter wish list or even if the Frenchman will make signings at all.
