It’s not going to happen Rambo

Aaron Ramsey hopes to form a formidable midfield partnership with Jack Wilshere. Well sorry bud, but this doesn’t look like it’s going to happen anytime soon.

Talking about Jack’s injury hell and return to the first-team, the Welshman stated:

‘He’s been out for a long time and I’ve been through a similar sort of thing. I’m happy to see him back now playing again.

‘There’s nothing worse than being out for that period of time. We haven’t really had a chance to play together. He went out on loan, I got injured, he got injured.’

He finished off by saying:

‘I’m looking forward to that one day. He’s a gifted player and one that any midfielder would like to play with, and I’m no different. Hopefully that can be a possibility soon.’

It’s certainly a possibility for Arsene Wenger to mull over, but I just can’t see it happening, not when you look at the midfielders we have at our disposal this season.

There is only room for three central midfielders in our team and I’m pretty sure the boss will always pick (if they are fit and available) Santi Cazorla, Mikel Arteta and Wilshere. If Ramsey wants to feature in the starting line-up then it looks like he will have to play out wide, a position he is not to fond with in my opinion.

Perhaps Jack and Rambo will play a few games together as the season unfolds, but as for forming a central midfield partnership, I just don’t think this is viable.

I agree not yet, but I wouldn’t write Rambo off. Simply put, if Jack gets back to his best then Ramsey is a bit behind him currently in terms of ability, and maybe likely always will be. There is no shame in that because if we get back the Jack of the Barca home game then you are likely looking at one of the worlds best central midfielders. That doesn’t make Ramsey a bad player. If everyone was fit then yes Arteta would play with Wilshere and cazorla, and Ramsey would be on the bench. He will still be needed a lot over the season and should just focus over the next 2 seasons on modelling his game on Arteta’s with a view to being his long term replacement. There is the possibility that there will come a time where the 2 will be regular partners in midfield but at the moment I consider Ramsey Arteta’s understudy.

Don’t rule out Santi or Ramsey on the wing

At their current levels & what each individual adds to the team I think that Ramsey comes behind
Diaby & Rosicky & isn’t much ahead of the rapidly improving Coquelin.

Ramsey is a very poor player, worst arsenal play as at now. Sometimes i wish ref shoud give him a red card for no reason, cos i prefare playing with tem men than him with my belove team. We always lost any match he starts.

  • meaner says:

Does Jack Wilshere wanna play along side with you Ramilson?

You are simply the clone of Denilson which mean you are a piece of shit.

We lost tonight again all because ramsey started the match. Wenge why cant u realise the fact ramsey does nt deservet to b arsenal player. We’v nt lost any game without him, but lost almost all the time he starts our game. Pls for the sake we the fans stop playing this in our matches so that we can win our remaining matches.
