Zambia international Stoppila Sunzu claims a host of Premier league clubs, including Arsenal, Bolton and Chelsea, are in for him this summer.
Quoted in the Daily Mail, the 22-year-old, who currently plays in DR Congo for TP Mazembe, said:
‘I met recruiters from Chelsea, Bolton and Arsenal in my hotel room in Gabon.
‘If those clubs want me, they have to contact Mazembe.
‘I will join the club that offers the most money and gives me the best chance to progress. Whoever signs me won’t regret it.’
The mdfielder, who can also play as an emergency defender, enjoyed an impressive Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year with Zambia and scored the winning penalty in the final over the Ivory Coast.
Sunzu previously expressed an interest in moving to England, but suffered work permit issues which ruined a move to Reading earlier in his career.
In my opinion, the player is obviously looking to get his name out there and look for a much bigger club than Mazembe.
He is known for his pace, strength and athleticism, and could certainly play in the Premier league. However, I don’t think we look the favourites to snap him up, especially if he wants to ‘join the club that offers the most money’ – Chelsea woul be the place to go. But if he is looking to progress as a player then Arsenal would be the obvious destination out of the three clubs he has mentioned.
Sunzu started off his career at Konkola Blades before moving to Zanaco FC in 2007. A year later, the Zambian sealed a loan move to LB Chateauroux, where he impressed.

Just read on the tp website the boy didnt say the club that offer’s the most money,he said he’ll go to a club that his chairman and owner of mazembe will be ok with because he has the final say and 1 that will improve him as a player.Guese he was misquoted because his English isnt that good
