Well it seems mega-rich PSG are preparing a £20 million summer bid for known Arsenal target and Montpellier forward Younes Belhanda, which will supposedly triple his wages and also include substantial bonuses, according to the Metro.

The 22-year-old Moroccan star is highly-rated in France and has reportedly attracted the interests of several clubs, including Inter Milan, Arsenal and of course title rivals PSG.

Noted for his skill, speed, technique and vision, Belhanda has scored eight goals in 25 matches for Montpellier so far this season and has been compared to former Gunner Robert Pires by his coach Rene Girard.

However, despite Arsene Wenger recently expressing his admiration for the Avignon-born player, it appears PSG will look to blow all the other competition out of the water to sign the Moroccan international.

The Metro believes the Ligue 1 side will open with a £15 million bid at the end of the season, but will be willing to go to £20 million and also triple Belhanda’s £15,000-a-week earnings.

Should this ensue then the Gunners – unless they free up some wages and get rid of the deadwood this summer – will stand very little chance of acquiring the Moroccan’s services.

But last month Belhanda did admit that he has a desire to play in the Premier League, singling out Arsenal as his preferred destination.

In my opinion, I think this will ultimately come down to what drives Belhanda the most.

If it’s money he seeks then PSG is the obvious place to go. However, if he wants to develop his talent further and become more recognizable in world football then Arsenal would be the obvious destination for the Moroccan.

    • Ni2roalex says:

Podolski is an out-and-out striker, belhanda is an attacking mid. why do you post such idiotic comments without knowing what you’re talking about?

”deejay” belhanda is a better transfer than podolski, id be happier if wenger brought him arsenal. i bet your not a real dj as well as being stupid

To be fair this article paints a poor picture of PSG because why can’t he develop his talent at their club? They have some top quality players and a world class coach because they can afford it. PSG will most likely be featuring regularly in the CL now that they have money to buy a squad so Arsenal is not the only place he can go to develop as a player.

With arsenal playing and usually competing well in champs league for last 14 yrs, the premiership ten time more exciting than french league and wengers track record with youngsters telly highlights the strengths of going to arsenal rather than making psg look bad although see where ur coming from

    garbage.
Also, with our recnt experience with North Africans, we know they lack the fight, speed, fitness etc etc. As one commentator dicribed Traabatt, he has good close control skills, but, lacking in everything else, hence he should be great at futsall.
