Arsenal may reignite their interest in Ricky Alvarez after reports in Italy claim Inter Milan are ready to cash in on the Argentine international.

The 24-year-old was reportedly on Arsene Wenger’s radar last summer, but the attacking midfielder decided to join the Nerazzurri from Argentinean side Velez Sarsfield.

However, Alvarez has struggled to settle at the San Siro club and, according to Tuttomercato, is considering his options ahead of the summer transfer window.

The versatile midfielder has made 15 Serie A appearances for Inter so far this season (six coming off from the bench), scoring just the one goal.

The Italian club spent around £10 million on acquiring Alvarez’s services, but will more than likely have to request a fee less than the one they required him for back in September if they want to offload him.

Portuguese publication Record claims Porto are also interested in Alvarez and could offer Fernando, who Inter are reportedly interested in, in order to acquire the Argentine.

Personally, I wouldn’t even bother wasting my time on a player that snubbed us last summer for Inter. Besides, we don’t really need him anyway!

Totally agreed, unless he is going for half the sum!

old school Wenger signing. Vieira and Henry spring to mind.

We don’t want or need him, should have come to us last summer when we were apparently interested in him.

Nasri. Nasri is the sole reason we are in this mess. weengr built the team around him at this was HIS season with the departure of Fabregas. Even though it seems it is our defence that is failing us, in the 2nd half. like against Fulham, we could not keep the ball- applying pressure to our defence in a game where we were constantly pushing forwards.
