Arsenal target Yann M’Vila is set to leave Rennes at the end of the season, according coach Frederic Antonetti:
‘The logic is that he will be sold in the summer. This is a player who can play for any of the eight big European clubs.
‘I spoke with him and he is totally committed to Rennes. He wants to help the club do well and leave with his head held high.’
Having read the Rennes coach’s words, would it be wise for Arsenal to make an early move for him? I believe so.
Arsenal should be making a move for him now as opposed to waiting until the end of the season, as he would certainly add some steel to our midfield.
Signing M’Vila, as well as Lukas Podolski, would be a huge boost to the squad and show the fans and other clubs that Arsenal mean business next season. Hopefully it will be enough to convince Robin van Persie to stay at the club too.
Although the 21-year-old Frenchman has been linked to several clubs in Spain and in Italy, it looks certain that Arsenal are firm favourites to land the robust midfielder this summer, especially with the French connections our club boast.
Bear in mind that the summer transfer window hasn’t even opened yet, yet it is already looks promising that we will change our usual last minute deals with some early ones.
Honestly, I would rather see Vertonghen move to Arsenal this summer. He has already indicated he prefers Arsenal. I think we should get rid of the Bendtner(s), Denilson(s) and Vela(s). Podolski + Vertonghen this summer seems to be the best investment IMO.

These signings would be good but we need proven world class players we cant wait another three years for players to develope imagine ten years without a trophy gotze is a must and poldi to a center back and a holding midfielder needed too
