Here are 9 things you should know about Arsenal and Tottenham prior to kick-off this afternoon:

1. The north London derby will get some added spice this time around as Spurs fight to finish above rivals Arsenal this season.

2. Both clubs also have players fighting for the title of most ground covered this season. Arsenal striker Robin van Persie is currently top of the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index for this with 153.7 miles, but Spurs’ Gareth Bale is nipping at his heels in fourth place with 151 miles.

3. Van Persie and Bale’s positions are mirrored in the rank for most shots on target, with Van Persie leading with 63 shots on target and Bale in fourth 48.

4. Arsenal have two other players in the top ten for distance covered with Aaron Ramsey in 8th and Mikel Arteta in 9th with 148.6 miles and 148.16 miles respectively.

5. Goals from Ramsey and Thierry Henry gave Arsenal a 2-1 win against Sunderland in their last Premier League outing.

6. Henry has made four substitute appearances for Arsenal since returning on loan from New York Red Bulls, and has covered 5.63 miles, averaging 87.7 yards per minute on the pitch.

7. Spurs beat Newcastle 5-0 in their last Premier League game with two goals from January signing Louis Saha along with goals from Emmanuel Adebayor, Niko Kranjcar and Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

8. Kranjcar covered the most ground for Spurs in their last league game with 6.09 miles.

9. Fans will also see three of the league’s top five passers on display at The Emirates this afternoon, with Arteta, Luka Modric, and Ramsey in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index for passes completed in the opponent’s half with 872, 857 and 705 respectively.
