AC Milan are preparing a reported £30 million bid to land Robin van Persie.

Sources in Italy suggests Milan president Adriano Galliani will offer Arsenal around £30 million when the Serie A club visit The Emirates on March 6th for the second leg of their Champions League tie.

Following the 4-0 drubbing to Milan over a week ago, being knocked out of the FA Cup a few days later, fighting to stay in the top four once again and only having 16 months left to run on his contract, the 28-year-old striker could be interested in a change of scenery, despite his most prolific year to date at Arsenal.

A few days after Arsenal’s humbling in Italy, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who performed immensely that night, urged Van Persie to leave Arsenal in order to win some silverware:

‘When you don’t win anything for years, people understand why you leave like Cesc Fabregas.

‘Football is all about winning. If you don’t win you want to go. I don’t know Robin personally but I remember him from Holland and what a talent he was – now he is complete.

‘I don’t know what he is thinking but I know what I would do.’

Milan centre-back Thiago Silva also believes RVP should jump ship and has encouraged his club to sign the Holland international:

‘He is a champion and all champions are welcome at AC Milan.

‘He is a player who can bring many things to a team. Defences have a real problem in trying to stop him and it really is a pleasure to watch him play.’

Robin still has 16 months left on his current deal. However, if he doesn’t sign an extension at Arsenal, I think, by the latest early August then the club should look to sell him. I would hate for this to happen, as he is arguably our star man, but it would make more sense to recoup say £30 million than lose him on a free the following summer, which is a possibility, right?

Arsenal have £100m – £150m to spend this summer (hopefully). Arsenal will rice again with help from owners this can be happening. Mark my word Arsenal’s former glory will shake the world again by inspiration from former legend(s). I hope Henry will return and take attacking coach staff and same M.Keown at defending coach(hope). Arsenal will be again as Arsenal we know about seven years ago.

BEJE Do you really think there is 100-150 million to spend? its a ploy to get people to renew season tickets there will be no big name signings just like all the other years RVP will leave at the last week No change until the current board, owner and manager leave. Our only hope is that the Russian cashes in on his Facebook share worth 10 billion and buys out the Yank

I think it says a lot about how many fans feel about the Board when we can be thinking that this is just a ploy to get people to renew their season tickets. Sadly, I can all to well believe it as well. I can understand that it’s important to run the club on a sound financial footing and I have no problem with people coming in and investing in the club and then expecting a return on that investment. Thats what business is all about. But what I don’t expect is for the personal profit of those running the club to come before the goal of making the club successful by winning trophies. People like Kronke and the others should get their share dividends by the number of trophies we win and not by the ridiculous prices we are paying to watch the beautiful (not so for gooners these days!) Game.

KEN did you know about billionares who used the money as make them self a Populars. Just look at Abramovic no one knows him before he spend big or Ijihad who him owns Man.City. Hopefully our two owners will help us to get back on track. Money can buys trophies. Who owned a little club is not known as big powerfull businessman. But that man who spend big can be known by getting his club better (it’s just a business and vision).
