The fairytale comeback is complete.

TiTi comes off the bench, picks a Vieira-esque pass from Song, shifts the ball to his right and slots it away in the bottom corner like he’d never left.

Listening to the game on the bus to work, I got some funny looks as I let out a small yelp when Nigel Winterburn relayed the commentary of the back of the net bulging and Thierry Henry’s truly legendary status was confirmed.

The Goosebumps that then ensued reminded me of what it truly feels like to be a Gooner!!!!

Arsene Wenger said on the goal:

‘It was like a dream. He was already a legend and tonight he added a little bit more.’

Onto Swansea and Wenger added:

‘Robin will be back. Will Thierry start or not? I don’t know. I haven’t decided that. He can play behind or in front of Robin or on the flank. Robin can play on the flank. I don’t know what I will do.’

Wenger also hinted at the possibility of extending Henry’s loan period to 8 weeks, which would make him available to play against The Spuds on February 26th.

Now Thierry, get the winner in that game and I might just drink Sydney dry!!!

  • Arsenal1Again says:

“and Thierry Henry’s truly legendary status was confirmed.”

Are you for real? His legendary status was confirmed and underlined years ago and recently it was emphasised some more with a statue outside the ground recapturing his goal celebration in front of the Spurs fans.

Thierry Henry has God status at Arsenal.
