Due to overwhelming interest shown in Arsenal target Lucas Biglia, Anderlecht have decided to slap a €15 million (£12.4 million) price-tag on the midfielder, according to RTBF Sport.
The Belgian club are aware of Arsenal and Manchester United’s interest in the 25-year-old Argentine and because of this have inflated his value in order to keep hold of him.
The combative midfielder has put in some inspiring performances for Anderlecht this season, and has broken into the Argentina international squad.
Biglia is reportedly being chased by a handful of European clubs, according to his agent, but the Belgian outfit are reluctant to sell their prized asset until at least the summer.
And with Anderlecht currently topping the Pro League, it is believed that Champions League qualification for next season will increase Biglia’s value.
