Arsenal have been put on red alert after PSG playmaker Javier Pastore recently admitted he wants to sign for a bigger club.

The 22-year-old Argentine creative midfielder was reportedly being chased by Arsenal, as well as Chelsea, last summer before eventually sealing a £35 million move to the Ligue 1 club from Palermo.

Pastore has so far managed to bag 6 goals and 3 assists in 16 appearances for PSG this season, but the Argentinean international has recently confessed that he would find it very hard to refuse the advances of a bigger club in the near future.

He told Radio Radio:

‘I train with great conviction in order to realise my dream of playing with a big team.

He finished off by saying:

‘If I want a team bigger than PSG to contact me, then it depends on me.’

I for one seriously hope that Arsenal keep an eye on this situation, as Pastore would certainly add some much needed creativity and flair to our midfield, something we have been lacking since the departure of Fabregas in the summer.

What a greedy c***, he clearly went to psg for the money and now he’s bottled it when things have gone wrong. Tosser

He may have gone for the money but he probably also went for the assurance of trophies and honours and since being at PSG he has won very little if any. I am not surprised that he wants to leave. A player of his calibre deserves to be playing with the best in the best league in the biggest competitions and if it took him 2 or 3 seasons to realise that wasn’t Ligue 1 then so be it.
