Marseille striker Loic Remy is not interested in a move to Arsenal, insisting he wants to stay in France and prove his worth the Ligue 1 club and their fans.
Didier Deschamps is desperate to keep hold of the 24-year-old, after recent reports claim Arsene Wenger is weighing up a potential move for the French international.
However, Remy, who has netted 7 goals in 15 Ligue 1 games so far this season, has made it clear he won’t be leaving Marseille anytime soon.
The speedy striker told RMC:
‘I am an honest person. I did not sign a five-year deal casually.
‘Arsenal? I am honoured, but I am not interested.
‘All I want is to do well for the team and our fans.’
