Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham will have to stump up at least £25 million if they wish to acquire Palermo’s attacking midfielder Josip Ilicic.
Despite the 23-year-old joining the Sicilian side only 14 months ago from Maribor for a mere £2.3 million, outspoken Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini insists he will only listen to interested clubs if, and only if, a minimum of £30 million is tabled.
All three London clubs have reportedly sent representatives to watch Ilicic in action this term, including Sunday’s 3-0 defeat at Juventus.
Well if I know Arsene Wenger’s thinking, and I think I do by now, I believe its safe to that we are well and truly out of this race.
