Arsenal youngster Oguzhan Ozyakup recently admitted he came close to joining Feyenoord in the summer.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who made his senior debut for the north London club in the Carling Cup against Shrewsbury Town in late September, is keen to gain more first-team experience by looking to secure a temporary move away from the Emirates in January.
Ozyakup told Voetbal International:
‘The story with Feyenoord was very serious, we were very close.
‘Why it didn’t happen is a bit unclear, but it may happen in January. But it’ not up to me. My preference is to at least think about the Netherlands.’
This kid should definitely seek a loan move away from Arsenal in January in order to gain first-team experience and hone his talent further.
