8 things you SHOULD know about Arsenal v Fulham

Here are 8 things you should know about Arsenal and Fulham prior to kick-off later this evening:

3. Van Persie’s conversion rate of chances to goals is now stands at 25%.

4. Gervinho has got more shots on target than any other player in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index in last week’s games, with five against Norwich, yet he did not mange to hit the back of the net.

5. Mikel Arteta covered the most ground for Arsenal for the second game in a row with 11,082 metres against Norwich. Arteta now has an average of 111.43 metres per minute for Arsenal and Everton this season.

6. In comparison to Van Persie’s impressive run in front of goal, Clint Dempsey may feel aggrieved at his return of three goals from 41 attempts and 68% on target – a chance conversion rate of just 7%.

7. Aaron Hughes covered the most ground for Fulham against Sunderland with 9,464 metres, despite Fulham being outrun by Sunderland by 94,578 metres to their 98,518 metres.

8. Mark Schwarzer was credited with a great performance in Fulham’s 0-0 draw against Sunderland in their last Premier League outing. Schwarzer made 7 saves in that game, taking his total for the season to 70, the third highest total in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index.
