Arsenal are considering a January bid for Valencia’s left-sided player Jordi Alba, according to reports from Spain.
Alba has been converted to a left-back recently and has made his way into the Spanish national team but can also play on the left side of midfield.
Arsene Wenger maybe concerned with the defensive ability of Andre Santos and could bring in Alba as some quality competition for the left-back birth as well as using him as an option further forward.
Valencia have a history of selling their star assets to balance the books, but Arsenal could yet face competition from Barcelona for Alba’s signature.
