It appears QPR midfielder Alejandro Faurlin has attracted the attentions of Arsenal, Spurs and Inter Milan, all of which are thought to be preparing a January bid for the Argentine’s services.

Faurlin has been impressive so far for QPR, who themselves currently sit comfortably in 9th position in the Premier League.

Having signed from Instituto in 2009 for a fee which could rise to £3.5 million, Faurlin is now valued by QPR at around £10 million and interested clubs are likely to keep tabs on his progress until January, where they could table an offer for him.

It is thought that Tottenham currently lead the chase and see him as a possible replacement for Luka Modric if he decides to leave Spurs at the end of the year. However, they do face stern competition from London rivals Arsenal, who have already watched Faurlin play a few times in the last 12 months.

Inter have also been long-term admires of the 25-year-old midfielder, who turned down the chance to play for the Italian club and join QPR as he felt he would get more first-team opportunities at the Premier League side.

I haven’t seen a lot of Faurlin play this season, but in the 2 games I have seen of him he has done very well. He has a lovely passing range and his positioning is great. To be honest, I’m not quite sure if Arsenal really require him, as I think there are better quality players already available to us within our squad, and that’s where we need to be focusing our attention in my opinion. However, I am pretty sure from Faurlin’s perspective a move to Arsenal, Tottenham or Inter for that matter could kick-start his international career and make him become a better footballer.

i’ve watched him a couple of time and he is an excellent player. He’ll be a better replacement for jervi in january when he goes for nation’s cup than arshavin.

This guy impressed me from the very 1st game I saw him play,he has good intuition & positioning, does his job so simple & straight forward.

If Gunners can sign him,Eva Banega & Ricky Alvarez then we well on our way to building a midfield to rival that of Barca & a midfield I think stronger than Real Madrid.
