Arsenal are preparing a £4 million bid for Hertha Berlin midfielder Raffael, according to reports in Germany.
Arsene Wenger wants to strengthen his midfield further following the departures of Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas in the summer and is apparently eyeing the Brazilian as someone who can add goals to his team.
Raffael, 26, scored 10 times for Hertha last season, helping his side to win promotion back to the Bundesliga. His goalscoring form has continued this season with another two strikes to his name so far.
This has alerted Arsenal who are ready to test Hertha’s resolve with a £4 million bid in January.

i think its ridiculous to claim every player we r linked with is a january target. i dont doubt that most of the player we are linked with, are on a list of some sort, and are looked at and tracked but these kind of articles just raise hopes for no reason, out of every ten players we are linked with only one or two actually materialise, it just seems like some fans are so eager to see arsenal spend just to prove we can that they delude themselves in thinking we will buy everyone… and hazard is the only player we need in attack. fact!
