So Nicklas Bendtner will not be returning to Arsenal after his season-long loan deal with Sunderland expires – great stuff. What’s more pleasing to hear is that A.C Milan are already interested in acquiring the striker on a permanent basis next summer, according to sources in Italy.

The 23-year-old, who once claimed he was one of the best strikers in the world, failed miserably to live up to this tag and has struggled to become a regular at the Emirates.

As a result of this, Bendtner managed to seal a transfer deadline day loan move to Sunderland, and while it may not be his desired move, at least he was granted his wish and left the club…well sort of.

The forward has been on Arsenal’s books since 2005, and despite being loaned out, it is extremely likely that he will be sold next summer.

If his loan spell at Wearside proves successful, then Steve Bruce may decide to make a permanent bid for the Dane, but could face stern competition from the Serie A champions.

Reports in Italy claim that Milan wanted to take Bendtner to the San Siro when the window was open, but they were not quick enough to seal a deal.

A.C remain keen on Bendtner and it is believed that they will make enquiries to Arsenal in January regarding a potential move next summer.

But Park Chu Young may not be with us next year either due to military duties… We should have Joel Campbell allowed to work in England by then though.
I’m confused though, why do they want Bendtner? Is he gonna be Ibrahimovic’s replacement?
