Are you sitting down? No, really. Arsene Wenger is considering a move to bring Manchester United’s John O’Shea to Arsenal. See. Told you.
That’s according to this morning’s Daily Mirror, which claims we are looking for defensive cover as we prepare to sell Gael Clichy to Manchester City for £7million.
It is reported that O’Shea, 30, was told this summer that he can leave United after 12 years. Must be an agent stirring interest up with the use of a lapdog hack surely to Dennis. Can’t be arsed to bring you more detals of this scoop because it is just too depressing.

Another United reject – we saw how well that went last time. Wenger needs to stop these crap ‘bargain’ buys. Arsene seems quite comfortable reveling in mediocrity for the past 6 years.

If your gonna give Man United our money put it to good use and buy us the only Manchester United player I would welcome with open arms, Darren Fletcher. I mean we need A holding midfielder to cover for Song who can score and create plays, defend and scare the opposition. Cough up some money Wenger
This would be ludicrous ans typical Wenger : buy a player who is good value. O’Shea is OK but nothing more. He is within his comfort zone – if surrounded by the Man.Utd tight and well organised defence. At Arsenal he would show what a very ordinary player he is. Ferguson knows when it is right to let a man go eg. Victor Silvester. He was good value too.
Mr.A . Wenger has done his share of work and it’s time for him to leave. How he even contemplate signing another Sylvertre.He is clueless as to how to end Arsenal trophyless nigthmare. He needs to get new and top class goalkeeper and defenders.
