‘We are all looking forward to see if he joins the club’

|

Pedro has become the latest Barcelona player to throw his two cents in on the Cesc Fabregas saga, insisting that the Spaniard would adapt quickly – if he were to join the Camp Nou outfit this summer.

The 24-year-olds future still appears to be in limbo despite intense speculation, and with Arsene Wenger reluctant to part ways with his captain for anything less than £40 million this summer, this transfer chronicle looks set to roll on further.

Gerard Pique, Xavi, Victor Valdes and Carles Puyol (forgive me if I’ve left any others out) have publicly stated that they want their club to complete the signing of Fabregas, while Barca boss Pep Guardiola remains confident of landing the Arsenal midfielder before the transfer deadline.

Pedro, a World Cup winner with Spain last summer, has given his thoughts on the situation; claiming Fabregas would fit the bill at Barcelona.

The 23-year-old winger was quoted on talkSPORT.com saying:

‘We are all looking forward to see if he joins the club, we get on well together with the national team.’

‘He would adapt quickly as he has great quality. We know he is in a difficult situation, but hopefully the issue will be finished soon.’

To be honest, I agree with everything Pedro has stated.

1. We are all waiting to see if he stays or goes – either way, I couldn’t care less.

2. The situation that Fabregas is in is a difficult one (because he loves both clubs).

3. We all hope that this issue will be resolved as soon as possible, whatever the outcome may be.

I don’t mind players stating the obvious as Pedro has done, I just don’t like players, who are supposed to be professional, taking the p*** out of our club and insinuate ridiculous accusations that we have ‘kidnapped’ a ‘suffering’ Cesc Fabregas.

Fabregas needs to be sold to the highest non-EPL bigger. Period. F Barca. They don’t get to name THEIR price…they’re the buyer. We need competition for this offer – Inter, Real Madrid, AC Milan…c’mon!

some times i really wonder where fabregas would play in barcelona midfield!
They are not just being fair. dey should leave him at arsenal and let him win trophies as a captain rather than make him a useful sub at barcelona.
I hate Barca now, God knows.
