Assuming Arsene is true to his word and he tells Barça to fcuk off, the central midfield still needs a boost. Cesc and Jack can form a title winning partnership together and are ably supported by Aaron. But Diaby is always injured and Tommy doesn’t really cut the mustard. Experience cover is needed

Wingers – Theo Walcott, Andrey Arshavin, Carlos Vela, Ryo Miyaichi
Verdict – Eastland’s stumps up £25 million and Sam joins Gael, Miyaichi doesn’t get a work permit and gets re-loaned to Feyenoord, Gervinho’s transfer passes its regulatory process. Vela is hit and miss and three wide players aren’t enough.

Cannot even be bothered to click on page 2, you have put Jenkinson as a Centre Back and claimed that Traore wants to leave, where is the foundation for this rumour? Apart from Vermaelen, Traore is our most experienced LB with over 70 top flight appearances for Portsmouth Juventus and Arsenal. He has played far more matches than Ashley Cole had at this age and looks better than Cole did at this stage of his career. Gibbs is already an England International, for Crying out loud what has a 21 year old got to do to get people on side. In addition to these 2 we have Belgium’s 1st choibe left back and another 21 year old Botelho who has already played over 120 matches and will be available next season.
I stand corrected on Jenkison but this only increases huge need for another CB, as for Gibbs, if you read the piece, he us worthy of the role just personally feel needs a season free of injury and that extra experience to step up.
As for playing TV5 at left back? Our best CB, massive waste.
