Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has today confirmed that he will never play in Europe again.

The 33-year-old French striker, who lifted 2 Premier League titles and 3 F.A Cups with the Gunners, is now in his second season with the New York Red Bulls and revealed, ahead of the MLS All Stars game with Manchester United tomorrow, that he is happy to end his career in the US.

Henry was quoted in The Sun saying:

‘Since I’ve arrived it has been more than amazing. We played in Seattle with 48,000 people, so people are coming to the games.’

The Frenchman added:

‘I’m done with Europe. My career is over there. I was fortunate enough to win everything at club and international level. So I’m happy here, I won’t go back.’

To be honest, I’m not that surprised with Henry’s latest revelation – he’s got it good in New York and is enjoying his football and lifestyle.

Personally, I always thought his move to the Red Bulls would be his last one and it appears I was right.

I would love to see him in an Arsenal shirt one more time, but it seems that this will never come to pass now.

I just hope he doesn’t rule out a return to Arsenal when he retires!

Oh well, at least I’ll get to see the great man perform one more time live at the Emirates this Sunday.
