A ‘three for the price of one’ deal that Arsenal should propose to City this summer

We are all totally fed up of the disrespect being shown to Arsenal by the two Manchester clubs and Barcelona this summer.

I for one am also fed up with Samir Nasri – he is not Fabregas. The Frenchman will never be able to fill those boots or play that position in the centre with the same effect. He can dribble and does has a few tricks up his sleeve, but can he cannot battle or tackle. So I am at the point of saying let’s call it a day and cash in rather than keep a miserable player at the club. I have already said that I want the side to return to a four man midfield and I am excited by Theo’s desire and Wenger’s hints that we might see RVP playing just behind Walcott in the Henry role.

For me that foursome needs strength and flair, but I am still hoping to see the Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey partnership steal the show this upcoming season.

I am also certain that Gervinho will be a regular starter, so that just leaves one starting position open on the left.

So, here’s the deal Mancini – you ignorant disrespectful lump of outspoken mediocrity – you can have Nasri, who we value at £30 million, but here’s what I think we should get in return.

You currently have 11 midfielders in you squad and the capture of Nasri would make 12. So, here is what I propose. We should take James Milner or Adam Johnson for starters – we don’t mind which one, as both are English and can play wide on the left and will battle back unlike Arshavin.

In addition, we will take your forgotten man, Michael Johnson, who Wenger was after two years ago before his series of injuries hit. Let’s face it, you won’t ever play him anyway.

Thanks Roberto we nearly have a deal, but there is one more player on my list. As I think Johnson or Milner could come in at around £20 million and Michael Johnson is a freebie, the third player we will take off your hands is Micah Richards. You don’t appreciate him and he is stalling on a new contract, so we are doing you a favour. Micah must be worth around £10 million, which will make up the £30 million for Nasri. Not nice doing business with you as you lack any class or etiquette, but nice to get the better of the deal, which you are too blinded by money to see.

So come on Wenger let’s get creative here. We need some extra British work ethic and either of Johnson or Milner fit the bill.

Milner would be my preference. Whilst he has gone backwards at City, he was one of England’s better performers in the World Cup last summer. Both can play in a four man midfield, wide on left and Milner can play anyway across the line. We know you rated Michael Johnson in the past, so take a flyer on him. He is only 23, but when fit has to better cover than Diaby of Denilson.

Lastly, and I think brilliantly, we could bring in Micah Richards, who I think we could mould into the top flight gritty Adams or Keown style centre-back we have been crying out for. Under Mark Hughes, Richards looked dominant in the City line-up.

Take my advice and we can conclude our summer of business and be ready to mount a challenge with a probable profit of circa £40 million, if Denilson, Bendtner, and sadly, Fabregas leave.

To be honest i’d rather keep nasri or sell him for 30m n get a midfielder of higher quality, theres alot out there…hazard would be a better choice. Rather than a crocked player like micheal johnson. or a player that would be useless on the wing for that fact he hasnt scored a single goal for city, this being milner. No offence but pretty stupid post.

Tom mate no offence taken. I was more having a go at Mancini and Citeh then being serious but you and I both know that Wenger will never spend over £20 million on a player so if Nasri wants to go then why not look at exchange. On the subject of Milner he scored 7 in 36 2 years ago for Villa in an attacking formation and was on fire. You are judging him now playing in a defensive team and being in an out of the team. I would love Nasri to stay but I am also biased towards 4,4,2 and I want Rambo and JW in the middle. Happy to have Nasri on the left but not sure he would be.

Milner is not good enough for Arsenal, I’d happily take Adam Johnson + someone else though.

Please forward this to Mancini and Wenger, would solve a multitude of issues in one swoop
