Why this United player needs to stop meddling in Arsenal’s affairs

|

Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra can’t seem to break the habit of stirring the Arsenal pot.

In his latest outburst, the 30-year-old Frenchman has told Arsenal midfielder and fellow international team-mate Samir Nasri to ditch the North London club, in favour of a move to Manchester this summer, which I find quite absurd.

Evra joined United back in 2006, and has so far won 11 honours in his 5 years, while Nasri, who joined Arsenal in the summer of 2008, has won nothing.

The 23-year-old Frenchman is out of contract next summer, and is said to be stalling on a new deal at Arsenal in order to leave his options open. And Evra believes his mate should consider a move to United as a possible destination. Evra told The Sun:

‘If Samir comes, he has to know there is no room for mistakes. Each year you are playing to win. That is Manchester United’s culture. Each year it is a guarantee of a title. I have been at Manchester for five years now and I can’t remember how many trophies I have won. 13? 15? So, ‘Petit Prince’, if you want to become King you know where you have to go.’

In my opinion, Evra wasn’t loved as a child. He simply loves to cause trouble and meddle in everybody else’s business, instead of concentrating on his own priorities. I mean my word; don’t you have a Champions League final against Barcelona to worry about mate?

I’m sure all Arsenal fans remember Evra’s comments in December, when he described the Gunners as simply ‘a football training centre’. Nasri responded to Evra then, stating that Arsenal will prove they are not kids, and I believe that he will respond again, by putting pen to paper on a new Gunners deal.

Nasri owes a lot to Arsenal. He came to North London as a 20-year-old boy with amazing potential, and is now a world-class midfield maestro. Would he be as good as he is today had we not prised him away from Marseille in 2008?

I believe that Nasri will stay with Arsenal, simply because he loves the club. Arsene Wenger is his mentor, and on top of that, he is probably as eager (as we all are) to end the clubs 6 year wait for silverware. Plus, why would an Arsenal player choose to join Manchester United? If he does, he was never a true Gunner in the first place right?

So Patrice, from all of us here at the Arsenal camp, could you please learn to mind your own business in the future, and stop meddling in Arsenal’s affairs.

As much as i dislike the pig-headed evra, the situation at arsenal, (whereby we appear to be a club that has no winning mentality or is content with champions league qualification each season), is inevitably going to attract “vultures” to pick off the best players.
Evra has no respect for arsenal, and he is a disgrace to make his disrespectful statements publicly.
I do hope that this can have a positive effect on our club and add to the pressure to make wenger really get busy and serious in the transfer window. Evra may have ironically done us a favour in the long run.

Let Evra continue with his provocations. He is on record to have insulted Arsenal by comparing us to a training center. That same training centre beat them recently and I did’nt hear him saying anything about that performance in which he was flamoxed by Van Persie to supply the winning goal.

He is such a person who can only feel good only if others are made to feel bad. There is a name for it and i forgot it but who cares. We’ve had a poor season and we all hope our Manager adresses the issue of team depth: back to front and hope we can compete properly next season.

Arsenal Forever: win, Lose or Draw

As much as I hate this guy, at the moment Arsenal have become a club who are content with finishing in a champions league spot. Players want to win things and I fear that we will lose our best players because of our lack of silverware.

    p.s. Evra is still a C**t.
