An Arsenal trio looking to impress in Copenhagen tonight

|

The Three Lions take on Denmark in Copenhagen tonight, but our eyes will only be focused on the Arsenal trio that will be taking part.

Theo Walcott and young Jack Wilshere will represent England, whilst Arsenal team-mate, Nicklas Bendtner, will be wearing the red and white of Denmark.

Undoubtedly, all of England will have their eyes fixated on the gifted Jack Wilshere. The 19-year-old, who has been hailed as ‘real talent’ by Fabio Capello earlier in the week, has indisputably lit the Emirates and the Premier League alight since his introduction into the Arsenal first-team this season. Let’s hope he crafts yet another solid performance and carry his fine club form into tonight’s game.

Another man on form, which will please the Three Lions fans, is Theo Walcott. The speed merchant is having his best season ever, recording 11 goals in 26 games for the Gunners in all competitions so far. Unquestionably, Walcott’s pace, speed, and lately, his piercing eye for goal, will no doubt be a constant threat to the Danes tonight. You’ve been warned folks.

As mentioned earlier, lining up against his Arsenal team-mates in Copenhagen will be 6’ 5’’ Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner. The 23-year-old has so far had an unbalanced season for his club. The Dane has only managed to net 5 times whilst wearing the Arsenal attire, and is struggling to break into the starting line-up at the Emirates. However, his international record is marginally superior. Bendtner’s current record stands at 12 goals in 35 caps for Denmark (a goal ratio of approximately 1 in every 3 games). Could the Dane add to his tally tonight?

I think all three players had decent games. Ok they weren’t at there best, but honestly I think baring Christian Erikson, nobody had a great game.
