Arsenal are monitoring Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto, according to calciomercato.com.
The Czech Under 21 international has broken through into the Serie A club’s first team this season under manager Luigi Del Neri and is attracting interest from Premier League clubs, including the Gunners.
The 21 year old spent last season on loan at Serie B side Ascoli, and Calciomercato report that the London club’s interest began during the midfielder’s time in the Italian second tier.
Jankto is reportedly on one of the lowest salaries in the top flight in Italy and with two and half years still left on his current deal, he maybe looking for a pay rise now he has become a permanent fixture in the Udinese side.
Hull City are also believed to have taken a look at Jankto in recent months. So far this campaign, the midfielder has played 18 times in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
