Arsenal are planning to launch a bid for Hull City left-back Josh Tymon.

ESPN, as reported by Metro, claim the 17-year-old has been on Arsenal’s radar for quite some time, but face competition for the youngster’s signature from Liverpool and Everton.

The teenager made his Premier League debut against Sunderland last Saturday but has yet to sign a professional contract with the Yorkshire club.

It’s understood that Tymon is earning just £150-per-week, and Arsenal are ready to take advantage by making a move for the young prospect in January.

The Gunners have already been linked with a move for Olympiacos left-back Panagiotis Retsos and appear keen to sign a player for the future for this position.

Nacho Monreal is getting older and has recently admitted he would like to play for Atheltic Bilbao one day, leaving Arsene Wenger possibly looking for an understudy to the Spaniard.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will make a move for Tymon or in fact just a rumour. Only time will tell.
