Arsenal defenders come out on top in the world of fantasy

|

A clean sheet and a point at the King Power Stadium would normally be seen as a good result at the home of the Champions, although the Arsenal supporters were seemingly far from happy as boos rang around at the final whistle.

Having been beaten convincingly at home to Liverpool, Wenger adopted a more pragmatic approach to stem a leaky defence and it had the desired effect as the Gunners garnered a large amount of possession and limited the Foxes to very few chances. Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin were Arsenal’s best performers with DraftKings – with Theo Walcott carrying on where he left off in week one in delivering 8pts:

Nacho Monreal (12 fantasy points)

1 shot, 4 crosses, 1 foul drawn, 1 foul conceded, 2 tackles won, 4 passes intercepted, 1 clean sheet

Hector Bellerin (10 fantasy points)

1 shot, 1 shot on goal, 2 crosses, 1 tackle won, 4 passes intercepted, 1 clean sheet

Theo Walcott (8 fantasy points)

3 shots, 2 shots on goal, 2 tackles won, 2 passes intercepted

Arsenal travel to Vicarage Road at the weekend, where Arsene Wenger will be looking to unleash Ozil, Sanchez and Giroud in attack – with a view of kick starting their season and mounting their title challenge.
