Arsenal are ready to complete the signing of Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez in the near future, with the Algerian international keen on a switch to the Emirates Stadium according to Le Buteur.
The Gunners have already been rebuffed by one member of the Premier League winning Foxes side, with Jamie Vardy opting to remain at the King Power Stadium instead of move to North London.
Mahrez is unlikely to show the same loyalty to Claudio Ranieri’s men however, with rumblings all summer long that the North African wanted a move to one of Europe’s top clubs.
The report suggests that a big-money deal to bring last season’s PFA Player of the Year to the Emirates Stadium is almost complete, which will come as excellent news to the Gunners’ fans.
An attacking midfield trio of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Mahrez would surely be the best in the Premier League and have Arsenal in consideration for major silverware in 2016-17.
