Muamer TankovicArsenal are monitoring the progress of Fulham youngster Muamer Tankovic, according to reports in Sweden.

The 18-year-old was handed his Craven Cottage debut in Fulham’s 3-0 FA Cup third-round replay victory over Norwich and impressed those watching.

Following his display against Norwich, Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet now claims Arsenal are among those keeping a close eye on the young forward, whose contract at Fulham expires this summer.

Tankovic’s agent claims the Cottagers are keen to keep hold of the Sweden Under-19 international, and also suggests that discussions over a new deal will likely take place in the upcoming months.

However, his representative is aware of the interest in his client and says any move for the former IFK Norrkoping youth product ‘doesn’t sound impossible’.

Using his clever and swift movement, Tankovic has the ability to lose his marker to great effect and is also a player who has the capability to create goals with his vision.

Ajax and Spurs are also among those believed to be interested in Tankovic.
