We are currently on a five-game unbeaten run in all competitions and momentum is building which is great to see.
Our next game sees our boys host Blackburn Rovers tomorrow afternoon in the FA Cup, a game, on paper, we SHOULD win comfortably.
However, on Tuesday we face the first of our two clashes against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. And although certain players are in form, Arsene Wenger will undoubtedly rest a few of them for the game against the German giants. I for one am for this, but I don’t want to see Wenger change the whole line-up. With all do respect, Blackburn aren’t a side that strike fear in me. However, they shouldn’t be taken lightly – after all, it is the FA Cup we are talking about.
So with the game against Bayern just around the corner, and taking to account current injuries and or suspensions, what should our starting line-up look like tomorrow afternoon?
Well here is how I would like to see Wenger set out the team:
Szczesny
Sagna Mertesacker Miquel Monreal
Arteta Ramsey
Rosicky
Walcott Chamberlain
Giroud
Thomas Vermaelen and Laurent Koscielny are doubts, so Per Mertesacker will have to be partnered by Ignasi Miquel or Skeletor himself Sebastien Squillaci – the former would be the obvious choice. Bacary Sagna shifts back to his regular position and Nacho Monreal keeps his place in the side.
Jack Wilshere is 50/50 to be available so if he is sidelined I expect, and would like to see, is Aaron Ramsey and Mikel Arteta dictate the game from midfield, with Tomas Rosicky, if he’s fit, to play in the Santi Cazorla role.
Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should occupy the wings and utilize their pace, with Olivier Giroud spearheading the attack once again.
So, who do you guys reckon should start for us against Blackburn?

Rhodes hat trick…..nuff said! Au Revoir to le Cup Arsenal.
We cannot afford anymore injuries up to the Bayern game and the squad should really be good enough to handle Blackburn, so I would go for:
Fabianski (Martinez)
Carl, Per, Miquel, Monreal
Rambo, Diaby
Alex, Rosicky, Arshavin (Gnabry)
Gervinho
Bench:
Martinez, Sagna, Arteta, Cazorla, Walcott, Podolski, Giroud
+1
isn’t Jenkinson suspended?
Carl’s suspended
for the premier league yes the FA cup no
Not so, he’ll be suspended for the FA cup since it’s an FA competition, as is the premiership
I wouls swap per, theo and arteta for vermalean, gervinho and Diaby. Keep the bench strong and with home advantage should be enough to get ready for Munich.
Wojo
Sagna,Per, Miquel, Monreal
Rambo, Diaby
Rosicky, Arshavin
Gervinho Giroud
Yennaris seems to always play well, he´s an option for RB as is Coquelin.

I agree with this team 100%
I need clean-sheet. With any line-up that believe they can do it..
Think Podolski will start for sure. He haven’t played last two games and I am pretty sure he will start. Arsene said today that TM5 was 90:10 to be ready for the game tomorrow. Bit unsure who will start in the offensive role, think Arsene may be resting him for Bayern, and I think he may also reast Giroud or Theo. So this is my preddicted starting XI:
Szczesny
Sagna – Per – Vermaelen – Nacho
Arteta – Ramsey
Chambo – Rosicky – Podolski
Theo
Rosicky is an obvious choice and Coquelin should get a run. Radical it may be but I`d play Sagna in the centre and move Ramsey to right back ,there are plenty of options in mid field.
Up front the Ox needs a run along with Giroud and maybe Gervinho. There`ll be plenty of power on the bench if needed.
Hw can you play ramsy as rt back?he has no speed, middle would be ok for him. I belive we have squrd that can win this game for us.
