So having been dumped miserably out of the FA Cup over the weekend to Blackburn, Arsene Wenger must somehow rally his troops and fully focus on Bayern Munich’s visit to The Emirates tomorrow night.
The Champions League now remains our only hope of ending our trophy drought.
Wenger rested a few key players over the weekend and as such we are all expecting the Frenchman to field his strongest side against the formidable German outfit tomorrow.
A win or positive result even, is most definitely required to lift spirits at the club and get some of the Arsenal boo-boys back on Wenger’s side. Should an absolute mauling ensue then it could well have a detrimental effect on the side and derail The Gunners further.
So with that in mind, what should our starting line-up look like against Bayern?
Many will agree with how I think Wenger should set the team out:
Szczesny
Sagna Koscielny Vermaelen Monreal
Arteta Wilshere
Cazorla
Walcott Podolski
Giroud
Despite his poor form since his return to the side, Bacary Sagna needs to step up to the plate and use his experience to deal with the likes of Franck Ribery and or Arjen Robben.
I think Laurent Koscielny should remain in the side as we will need speedy defenders to keep up with Bayern’s fast attack. Thomas Vermaelen and Nacho Monreal are no-brainers.
The midfield trio speak for themselves, and I would like to see Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski cause their full-backs all sorts of problems with their pace and delivery.
This game has Olivier Giroud written all over it. He will have to use his power and strength to hold up the ball and bring others into play, while also winning the ball aerially.
It is no doubt going to be a very difficult and tight contested game. But these players will need to show us what they are made of when the going gets tough.
So, who do you guys reckon should start for us against Bayern at The Emirates?

monreal cup tied so per in the middle with verm on the left also i think rosicky could be a big influence in the game from the bench of course 20 mins to go he could strech any defence and got a knack for getting an important goal

Szez
sagna koz mert verm
ramsey rosicky
cazorla
poldi giroud theo
Got to go for broke but AW already talking about winning in 180 rather than 90 mins i.e. expecting not to win tomorrow. Will play arteta for ramsey and coquelin/ramsey for rosicky.
Forget Blackburn; irrelevant as we would not have won FA Cup anyway. Full strength team is a good side capable of winning at S**** Hart Lane and cementing 4th or 3rd.
Believe, and forget haranguing AW.

Alas no monreal ineligible.Vermaelen must stay in the centre as to put him on the left would limit our attacking threat down that side.Whatever ambitions we harbour,we have to produce tomorrow night.To that end tomorrow id start with;
Szcezny
Sagna Vermaelen Mertesacker Coquelin
Diaby Wilshere cazorla oxlade podolski walcott. To give bayern something to think about id let the front three interchange at will.Giroud and rosicky may do as impact subs and whatever else no rushes of blood to the head please and we may go to munich with expectation not hope

Play Art and we are stuffed. Jack, Rambo and Ros in the CM with Pod, Caz and Wally up front will give us the best chance to run Bayern ragged. Only getting after them will work. Then we pray for a bit of quality in the taking of chances. Come on you red and white wizards!!!!!!!!!!!

Sczezny
Jenkinson Mertesacker Sagna Vermaelen
Ramsey Arteta
Rosicky Wiishere Santi
Walcott.
I thought of playing Giroud earlier but on the current form guide I would rather we play the arsenal way and keep the ball tightly in our grasp so Theo would fit in my plans.
I would think of promoting Akpom to the substitute bench alongside Arshavin, Podolski, Miquel,Coquelin.
This is the kind of game that you need Rosicky and Santi playing at their best with wilshere there in the middle.
I would love to see Podolski in the second half alongside Akpom or arshavin if we have not scored by the 70th minute.
