Arsenal may not be having the best of times on the field as of late, but it seems they are off it.
First-team players Emmanuel Frimpong, Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lukas Podolski all took time out of their busy schedule to do battle on in the annual FIFA 13 Pro Player Tournament, and if history is anything to go by, ‘the face of the game’ usually triumphs.
Frimpong took on Podolski in the first of the two semi-finals, while ‘The Ox’ (the new face of FIFA) was up against last year’s winner and FIFA cover boy Wilshere.
The quartet all chose different teams to play with – Frimpong picked Arsenal, while Podolski stayed true to his roots, picking former and boyhood club FC Koln. AOC chose Barca, and Wilshere opted for Real Madrid.
Who won the tournament and was crowned Arsenal’s FIFA 13 Pro Player champion?
