Cesc Fabregas has offered his support to Arsene Wenger this week by openly stating that Arsenal must keep faith in Le Professeur.

The former Gunners captain was quoted in the Daily Mail saying:

‘If I can’t see Barca without Pep (Guardiola), I see Arsenal without Wenger even less.’

The Spanish midfielder went on to say:

‘He has been there for 16 years, he is the only Arsenal coach I have known.

‘It would be strange, very strange to see Arsenal without Wenger.’

I think Cesc is right, we all need to keep faith in both the players and Wenger, and the best way to do this is by getting behind the team and the Frenchman for the remainder of the season. Let’s all show players like Robin van Persie just how much they will be missed and how much we want them to stay.

Arsenal’s next three games are against Liverpool, AC Milan and Newcastle, all crucial matches at a crucial time in the season, so let’s focus on securing the highest position possible in the league and hope Spurs slip up. I am almost certain they will from now until the end of the season, so we’ll need every point we can to keep us in with a chance of nipping third spot from our rivals.

who is cesc to comment on who is leaving arsenal? he is a traitor to the club, leaving the club in the lurch as he is approaching his prime. without arsenal, he will still be in barca b team, or worse.

  • inarsenewetrust says:

also, please remove the cesc pic in arsenal colours. he is no longer with the club and the pic is a disgrace.

    • Arsenaltilidie says:

Disgrace pmsl, i think someone is still a little bitter and needs to grow up a little bit, he’s entitled to an opinion.

    • Geeeeeeeezzzzz says:

Wot kind of a nob says Cesc is a disgrace? the man was with us for 8 years and gave it his all whilst he was here. show some respect to a great player you clown!

  • Djofils says:

I agree with both above comments. Cesc is a big traitor he left us when we really needed him. He aint won anything and has no right to comment. When i hear him say ” i love this club and it was so hard for me when i left” it is like the love of your life telling you ahhh i love you but we can only be friends.

  • James says:

Cesc gave his all for Arsenal, Wenger let him down – surrounding him with Diaby, Song and Denilson, what a prat. Still, players should not make silly comments about managers. Just because Wenger is all Cesc has ever known, doesn’t mean the same for supporters. Graham almost achieved as much in Wenger in a much shorter period of time. He didn’t have a 7 year barren spell and was sacked as soon as his powers started to falter. Wenger goes on and on, like an old prostitute.

    • St David says:

get on do your homework, james, History, methinks, is suffering. Yes, Cesc gave his all most of the time, but even when it was to the detriment of the team. Remember how he twanged his hamstring in the return match against Barcacheater last year yet still carried on without letting the bench know. Don’t think you speak for all supporters either, teenage mug.

  • Stu says:

James, George Graham was not sacked as soon as his powers began to faulter, otherwise he would have been sacked at least a year before he was – we finished 10th!!!! The Arsenal do not like to sack managers and if the whole bung thing had not been uncovered then GG would have been at the club longer. GG got a year ban from football so the board had no choice but to sack him.

  • Raji says:

James, shut the fuck up,GG never played in europe every of his seven years at arsenal,GG didnt plan a new stadium 4 arsenal,GG didnt groom d greatest striker the league has seen,i could continue this list from now until tomorow,Arsene is by far the greatest arsenal manager and i believe he is still the perfect man for the job…as for cesc,he is an arsenal great, buh he left the club when we needed him most,he should stop boderin his self with arsenal stuff and concentrate at fcb,

  • WC says:

Barca were without Pep just 4 years ago and they were still winning in style under Rikjaard. Just saying.

  • Bull says:

Cesc should just shut up.he left us when needed him most.just revisit his last season with us,he peformed worse than Adebayor did in his last season. was always faking injury!

  • The BearMan says:

It is a pity Cesc was not with us this season. His contributions would have made all the difference.

However, I am sure the experience of playing with quality players that are on top of their game proved a temptation to hard to resist.

If anyone of us were in his shoes, with such an opportunity to impove and ply one’s trade – few there are among us will turn that opportunity down. The lad worked his butt of for us, his contributions is worth remembering.

If there was one player, I would welcome back and glad to see in the Red n White again, is our former Captain. The mystro: Cesc Fabergas.

  • 1st we should “ve been finshed top 4 at the end of the season n then we will making our vote for arsen .
