Inter Milan look set to nab Greek teenage goalkeeper Stefanos Kapino from under the noses of both Arsenal and Manchester United, according to the Daily Mail.
The 17-year-old shot-stopper, who currently plays for Greek giants Panathinaikos, has reportedly been monitored by both Premier League clubs. However, the 6’6’’ youngster looks set to complete a summer move to the San Siro for approximately £2 million.
Even at such a young age, Kapino is already a full Greek international after picking up his first cap in a friendly against Romania on November 15th 2011, thus making him the youngest ever player to represent Greece at senior level.
Here is a video of the youngster in action:
In my opinion, and I’m not just saying this because I’m half Greek myself but, Kapino looks a very talented prospect for the future, and although we may have Wojciech Szczesny in our goal for the next 10-15 years or so, it would have been great to see this guy at Arsenal challenging Shezza for the no.1 shirt.
