Arsenal are reportedly tracking the progress of on-loan Manchester City striker John Guidetti.
The 19-year-old Sweden U21 international is currently on a season-long loan at Feyenoord and was watched by Arsenal scouts on the weekend against VVV Venlo.
It is understood that Arsene Wenger initially sent his scouts to have a look at Venlo’s Ahmed Musa, but received a glowing report on Guidetti by his reps on their return to London.
Although the promising youngster penned a new deal with wealthy City at the start of the season, he may have to consider his options as first-team opportunities will be hard to come by at the Etihad Stadium.

Saw the young Swede starlett yesterday, and yes, he has what it takes. His one-touch game is superb, and I can only start to imagrine the kind of threat his surging runs would represent he’d been given a descent amount of service – never mind the gunners sublime passing artistery
